Kindle users can now borrow ebooks from the Chautauqua Cattaraugus Library System. OverDrive, the vendor who provides our ebook downloading services is now compatible with all Kindles and Kindle apps!

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BARKER LIBRARY BOOK CLUB MEMBERS


Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 2-4pm. On that date, we will be discussing several selections by Edgar Allan Poe as part of SUNY Fredonia's Big Read program. We will be reading the following Poe stories: THE TELL-TALE HEART, THE MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE, THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER and THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM.
